After walking around the "historic” downtown Kent this weekend, I could not stop hearing the lyrics of the song "Call Me Maybe." I had never heard of the song before, which upset me because I pride myself on knowing what’s hip these days. I then went to the interwebs and found Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe." As it turns out, the Canadian's hit single had hit the tops of the charts in New Zealand, Canada, Australia and Ireland. The single comes off of her album, "Tug of War." She auditioned for "Canadian Idol" which allowed her to tour with the top contenders. I am looking forward to the remixes that may come out for this song. Look for more of the Canadian invasion in the new top charts in the wonderful United States of America.
