Released: March 5 by Mom+Pop records

Stars out of Five: Four

Sounds like: sophisticated yet youthful folky, jazzy acoustic guitar with violin, xylophone, some feel-good whistling and smooth, emotional vocals.

Favorite lyrics: “You’ve done the impossible now/ Took yourself apart/ Made yourself invulnerable/ No one can break your heart/ So you break it yourself” and “If memory serves us, then who owns the master”

Favorite Tracks: Track 5. Eyeoneye, Track 7. Near Death Experience Experience and Track 9. Lusitania

Listen to this album: While you take a break from fist pumping and Jager Bombs and spend some time alone doing something sophisticated, artistic and epic. Listen to this album while you climb a cliff in a far-away tropical destination. Once you get to the top, overlooking miles of crystal clear ocean, ponder life and existence.  If you really want to do it right, pull out an isle and paint the landscape. Get artsy and enlightened while you take in the world’s beauty and the sounds of “Break it Yourself.”
