5Sugar Glider
These flying possums are related to the marsupial family and are native to Australia. Don’t be fooled by their flying squirrel appearance, even though these little guys look adorable but they are pretty loud at night. I still think they’re pretty cute though….
4Chinchilla
What is not to love about this pet? They take DUST baths, which by the way is one of the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, and are so soft and oh come on those ears. I guess if you don’t like rodents or bunnies you may not enjoy the chinchilla but how cool is it that it bathes itself in sawdust? Still a really cool over sized mouse to me.
3Marmoset Monkey
This is no ordinary pet monkey my friends. This monkey grows only to be eight inches long. Basically it fits in the palm of your hand. I honestly think this would be an awesome pet if I lived somewhere with a warmer climate. I wonder if they get along with cats…
2Baby Owl
This is the only pet that doesn’t always stay little. That all depends on what time of owl you get but getting owls as pets have become a recent trend. As long as it’s not a screeching owl and it eats already dead mice I’ll take one but there’s no way I would feed a live animal to anything! Those big eyes are hard to resist I must admit.
1 Cup Pig
YES! Teacup pigs TRULY exist! A lot of people believed these were just a myth like miniature giraffes (so disappointing) but a number of people have become teacup pig owners and I haven’t heard many complaints about having one of these little oinkers. This is the number one cutest pet because all I want to do is carry it around in my bag and put little shirts on it. It’s the new toy poodle without the embarrassing haircut!
