As a trained bartender, I must tell, highball drinks are one of the easiest and best drinks to make. Anytime you hear “Rum & Coke”, “Gin &Tonic”, or “Orange Juice & Vodka” you have ordered a highball drink. As you can imagine, besides bottled beer, they are the fastest drinks for a bartender to serve; this means faster service. Another nice thing about highballs is that they can be pretty cheap. With that let’s give you my five favorite drinks:

5- “Captain Morgan & Coke”

1oz. Captain Morgan (preferably Captain Morgan Tattoo)

2oz. Coke

Slice of Lime

4-“Bay Breeze”

1oz. Vodka

1oz. Cranberry Juice

1oz. Pineapple Juice

3-“Disarano & Coke”

1oz. Disarano

2oz. Coke

2-“Bloody Mary”

1oz. Vodka

2oz. Bloody Mary Mix

1-“Whiskey & Ginger (AKA: The original Highball)”

1oz. Whiskey

2oz. Gingerale
