BEST:
Jessie J
The metallic trend hasn't died yet, and singer Jessie J went all out with this killer Julien Macdonald fishtail dress. The gown looked best in motion, as it picked up light from all angles and reflected color like a disco ball. Paired with the singer's blunt bangs and smoky makeup, the look was very modern and stylish. Kelly Osbourne
In recent years, Miss Osbourne has truly transformed from a punky loudmouthed brat to a chic and elegant judge on the E! Channel's “Fashion Police.” She looks lovely here in her one-shoulder champagne colored gown. The minimal accessories was a good choice, and her funky lavender hair puts a creative spin on the glamourous look. Adele
The soulful songstress channeled glamourous Hollywood icons with her lighter, retro hair and bright red lips. Her arrival gown was modest but chic and true to Adele's character. She did not aim to distract from her gorgeous vocals with a skimpy or shocking outfit. Well done, Adele. Kings of Leon
The Followill boys brought it in their perfectly fitted dapper suits. Compared to some of the more outlandish outfits worn by fellow rockers at the event, Kings of Leon knew how to keep it classy while still expressing their individual styles and tastes. From Caleb's bow tie to Jared and Nathan's all-black ensembles, the boys most certainly jazzed things up at the music celebration. Rihanna
Ri-Ri was definitely pulling a 2000 J. Lo with this low-cut gown. The singer surely turned a ton of heads with this frock she co-designed with Giorgio Armani. Inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer's look in “Scarface,” Rihanna looked sultry and dangerous in this sexy black number. Her tousled hair and natural makeup looked flawlessly beautiful with this effortless outfit.
WORST:
Nicki Minaj
Obviously Nicki was trying to out-weird everyone on the planet last night, and her jumbo Little Red Riding Hood outfit was no exception. It was more costume than fashion, but it was perplexing as to whom she was trying to channel here. Her faux pope accessory was even more mind boggling. This look certainly took the attention away from Gaga (shocking!) and on to the rap queen, but not in a good way. It looked like she was wearing part of the carpet. Robyn
This is BAD. It looked like Robyn drunkenly got ready in five minutes. A men's T-shirt paired with a perplexing asymmetrical skirt and platform hiking boots?! Nothing about this look makes any sense. The poor girl's bra can be seen through her shirt (not in the “sexy” way Fergie was trying to go for), and the skirt is riding up so badly in the front that something indecent might happen if she's not careful. And honestly, where does one even find shoes like that?! Perhaps she raided the Spice Girls' casual closet in the late '90s. Maybe the look was supposed to be a joke, and she hoped the back of her skirt would act as a cape so she could fly away during the night. Fergie
Everything about this outfit looks like a mistake. A look like this was sexy when Britney Spears did it eons ago, but Fergie takes all the spice out of it, and it instead looks trashy and confusing. The dark undergarments are too contrasting against the orange-red lace, and it seems like she forgot to sew in a layer of the dress. Perhaps Fergie was trying to channel Lydia Deetz from “Beetlejuice.” If that's the case, the nude makeup and tacky gold jewelry look misplaced with this outfit. Do not want. Bonnie McKee
Looks like Ms. McKee was either channeling a graduation tassel or spaghetti noodles with the peculiar strands attached to her shoulders. The dress looked like a poorly made costume, and the colors were all wrong for her. It's a shock she didn't trip over those yellow things and face plant it in front of everyone. I wonder if she braided the strings throughout the night. Corinne Bailey Rae
Corinne is adorable, and this look could have been really glamourous if the dress was about six inches shorter and if the singer pulled her hair back into a chic up do. Here, she looks like an '80s salsa dancer, and it just didn't work for her. The only saving grace of the outfit is the shoes. Had she thrown in some elegant jewelry, the look could have been a knock out. Maybe next year. Contact Brittany Nader at This email address is being protected from spambots.
