Are you looking to throw a party, but you’re afraid that it will be a total drag? Do you have an extra couple thousand or million dollars in your bank account just begging to be spent? Luckily, a celebrity with nothing to do is just begging to be booked for your party!
Who knew you could actually have a celebrity come to your party? Not me, but it only took me about 30 seconds to find a dozen different sites about how to rent a celebrity for a party. Paying for them probably won’t be as easy as this though. Today’s stars, like Lady Gaga, will cost you close to $2 million for a few hours. It will cost you anywhere from $100,000 to $350,000 if you want to bask in the glory of stars like Ne-Yo, Shaquille O’Neal, Wolfgang Puck, Bill Cosby, Conan O’Brien, Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. For $50,000 you can hire people like Phil Jackson, the head coach of the LA Lakers, Brad Garrett, from “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Bobby Flay, Rachael Ray, and maybe even Tim Tebow. If your life savings is only comprised of about $30,000, you can afford to have author Mary Higgins Clark, Mike “The Situation” for $25,000, or Deena, one-half of the famous meatballs, for only $8,000.
After you somehow find a way to contact their agent, prove you’re not just a creep, and get together all the money, these celebrities will be all yours. Let’s be honest, I don’t think any party could be worth spending my entire life savings for a celebrity to make an appearance. If you are really desperate to be in the presence of true fame at a party, buy a good costume and wig or hire an impersonator.

As the fictional cowbell-playing Blue Oyster Cult member, this sketch is one of Ferrell’s most popular, and it includes appearances from Jimmy Fallon, Chris Parnell and Christopher Walken. Together, the comedians deliver a genius performance and leave the audience wondering why more songs don’t feature the cowbell.

Aside from doing endless appearances and signing autographs until their overly muscled arms fall off, some of these Olympians are pursuing fashion, acting, a normal life, and maybe even some more Olympic medals. American hottie and pretty boy, Ryan Lochte, is already engrossed in his fame. He has filmed an episode of 90210, where he makes a shirtless appearance, and talked fashion with Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. He has plans to start his own fashion line, too. I’ve heard his IQ is nowhere near the level of his hotness, though, so we’ll see how far he gets with that one. Gymnastics star Aly Raisman also hopes to launch her own fashion line of active wear and workout clothes.
If the clothes make me anywhere near as flexible as her, I’ll buy them all. And what is the legendary Gabby Douglas going to do now? Well first, she’s going to eat a cinnamon roll. No, really. However, she plans to stay in shape by trying CrossFit, which I’m sure she’ll have no problem with.
Olympic retiree and record breaker Michael Phelps plans to improve his golf game, travel, and learn how to roll a blunt. Okay, that last one is open for debate. After winning 22 Olympic medals, the guy can do whatever he wants.
Soccer star and world’s best goalie, Hope Solo, has already released a book entitled “Solo: A Memoir of Hope.” I have to give her credit for the creative title. She’s also stirring up lots of drama with her endless comments about all the sex and drinking that goes down in the Olympic Village. She’s like the person who goes to Vegas and then tells everyone what happened.
After not losing an Olympic match for 12 years, Misty May-Treanor is ready for retirement. She plans to take her gold medal and beach bod home to be with her family. Kerri Walsh isn’t ready to give up volleyball yet, and will be playing at the Cincinnati Open with former Olympian Nicole Branaugh.
The biggest thing that all Olympians want to do now is live a slightly more normal life. This means eating carbs! Maybe they’ll cut back their workouts to only 2 hours a day, too. In all seriousness, every Olympic athlete deserves to take a little time off, eat fattening food like the rest of us, and bask in their own fame and glory.

You are not a politician, Donald Trump
After mastering real estate, reality shows and comb overs, why wouldn’t the next logical step in the sequence be the White House? I mean, Snooki’s on board, so he’s got a chance.
